Brent Ross- The son- Has said he wants to keep the care in place for tomorrow as he suspects she may be discharged tomorrow- However, Knowing that we have had Multiple service failures with this client, I dont feel right charging the client for the cancellation today because of extenuating circumstances, but the caregivers still need to be paid for their time- and their time tomorrow since they cant be booked anywhere else so they are on standby. Tim- Can you please advise on how to handle this? Do I charge the client for all of the hours today, and pay the caregivers? or do we not? If we charge them, I feel this will look bad on us and could cost us this client. Let me know your thoughts and I will let the son know.
