To this end we are finalizing the transition to having all franchise offices process credit cards locally. This will allow you to process charges any day of the week and not be stuck with the strict schedule placed on you by the accounting staff. This will help speed up receivables time for your office. There are two options for processing locally: 1. Keep your current merchant provider, Elavon. We can make a change to our portal so you are able to access and process transactions for only your clients. This will be simplest way to start processing locally. Our accounting staff will train you to use the system. Please contact Sridevi, srudd@homecareassistance.com to make this transfer. 2. Change to any merchant provider of your choice. You will need to apply and set up the processing interface locally. Depending on your current agreement with Elavon there may be cancellation fees. The deadline to start processing credit cards locally is January 31st.
