Their initial offer was 30k to settle the account which is ridiculous because the total balance due is 94k. Please review Lisa's email (the clients POA). I was trying to figure out a way to get them to pay as much without going into further discussions about legal issues, etc. I will leave it to you all to figure out how we should proceed. My suggestion: We contacted Lisa about the issue regarding the facility and payment at the end of April. I'm sure she was aware of the situation but she mentioned that she had not received invoices prior. So in April she was made aware of the situation and still continued care after the fact. The balance that racked up after that notification is $29,462,44. I would tell her that they need to pay this balance in full and negotiate the remaining balance of about roughly 55k.
