Good morning, 

 

I was able to connect with Revenue Quebec yesterday afternoon and in order to receive our Attestation of Revenue, we need to produce proof of payment for our March and May (GST+QST) balance.

 

March: $47,140.33

May: $48,552.16

 

We also have a balance owing for 2023 of $7,842.43 (with interest). 

 

If we can provide proof of payment for these balances, by the end of the day, we can prevent the loss of our Agency Permit.

As suspected, Quebec have misapplied our payment(s) that we made in May. As a result, we have a credit balance on the TQ0001 account and a balance owing on the RT0001 account.

Seth and I are looking into this. We show all these as paid. I am not sure if it is an issue where Quebec is not applying to the correct account. Most likely they are misapplying payments we made. We are looking into it.

This does not make sense to me. I just paid 26k to clear the account in May. The 26k was the entire amount owed on the account at that time. These seem to be from 2024. Steve and I cleared everything from 2024 before he left. Tim can I please have the login as I am not sure what is going on.

I received another call from Revenue Quebec (Montreal) this morning. We have still not resolved our outstanding tax issue and therefore our Agency Permit will be suspended by the end of this week unless we can provide an updated "Attestation of Revenue". I logged into the portal and this is what I see.

 



 

Please advise ASAP.
