It was really great meeting you too! In Alberta we lifted= our =E2=80=9CRestriction Exemption Program=E2=80=9D which requires individ= uals to be vaccinated to enter public spaces such as restaurants, gyms, and= other entertainment venues where there is a potential for high transmissio= n. This was lifted February 9 th . &= nbsp; Mask mandates for the province of Alber= ta are set to be lifted March 1 st . Currently it is mandated that= masks are to be worn in ALL indoor public spaces and workplaces. There are= no exceptions to this rule for vaccinated individuals. PCR testing is no longer av= ailable to the general public and is reserved for those who are =E2=80=9Chi= gh risk=E2=80=9D or health care workers. &nbs= p; There has been no decisions made on isolat= ion periods, it stands that anyone experiencing any COVID symptoms is legal= ly required to isolate for 5 days or until symptoms resolve (whichever is l= onger). If the individual has a negative COVID test and is symptom-free the= y do not have to isolate the entire 5 days. It is advised any COVID positiv= e individuals are continually masking for 5 days after isolation. Alberta has lifte= d its single site mandate which prohibited workers from working in more tha= n one continuing care setting. Now, this mandate is only in effect if there= is an outbreak, then workers are not allowed to work in other locations. I believe= those are the restrictions that pertain to us at this time. If you have an= y additional questions, don=E2=80=99t hesitate to reach out. Hope this helps! = Kind regards= , Jamie Jamie Fewchuk RN Care Manager Home Care Assistance of Calgary Office: 403-301-3777 <span style= =3D'font-size:13.0pt
