I don't often reach out for fundraising initiatives however I'm hoping you could support a worthy cause. As you may be aware, I am on the board of directors for NOVA West Island and I am chairing the committee for an upcoming fundraising event with the Habs Alumni Hockey Team. The Habs Alumni Team raises money across the province for various organizations. NOVA is very proud to have been selected by the team this year as one of their charities to support. The game is scheduled to be played on Friday, Jan. 31 at 7:00pm at the Bob Birnie arena in Pointe-Claire. The bulk of our funds raised will be through our sponsorship packages. There are various packages available to choose from as per the attached document. They range from $150 - $1200. Note: The Corporate Gold Sponsorship has already been sold. Thank you very much for your consideration and your generous support for a great cause. *About NOVA West Island:* NOVA West Island is a not for profit organization that provides free health care services to 16 communities in the West Island without any government funding. They offer a range of services free of charge or at low cost through the financial support of individuals, foundations, corporations, municipalities, community groups and through Fundraising activities. Their programs include: - Palliative Home Nursing Care (cancer/ALS) - Bereavement Support for adults and children - Adult Day Centers for adults with cognitive deficits - Home Support - Support groups for caregivers (ALS and Alzheimer) Last year, they cared for more than 753 vulnerable people on the West Island of Montreal through one or more of their programs.
