Home Care Assistance continues to evolve with our new corporate structure. Our team is growing and we are happy to announce several new positions. First, we are extremely pleased to announce that Danny Shapiro has joined as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Danny (LinkedIn ) was most recently a Vice President with DaVita Healthcare Partners, responsible for managing 50+ locations across Northern California that were generating over $200M in service revenue. DaVita is one of the nation's largest healthcare service companies and the market leader in dialysis services. In this role, Danny has managed a team of hundreds, achieved significant employee success and satisfaction, and launched ten new store locations. Danny also has his degrees from Harvard College and Harvard Business School, and he lives in Lafayette, California with his wife and two children. Danny will be focusing his efforts on growing and expanding corporate offices. More importantly, Danny will be working with the Executive Management Team (Lily, Chen, Barbara, Yarona and Ashley) on thought leadership and taking our company to the next level. Second, Jennifer Williams will be joining Jack Johnson in franchise sales as Manager of Franchise Development. Jennifer has in depth sales experience in pharmaceutical sales and home care marketing. She has worked for UCB Pharmaceuticals and most recently worked with BrightStar Healthcare. Jennifer lives in Pleasant Hill, California and has a young daughter, Maya. We are excited to welcome Jennifer into our Home Care Assistance family! Finally, David Norton is now a member of the Board of Directors of Home Care Assistance where he joins Lily Sarafan, Craig Frances and Pete Francis. Norton, who in 2010 was named Chief Marketing Officer of the year by CMO Magazine and Direct Marketer of the Year by Target Marketing Magazine, brings deep expertise in insights, analytics, loyalty and CRM. Norton spent 13 years at Harrah's & Caesars Entertainment, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer for the $9 billion company. In the role of CMO, he oversaw the Total Rewards loyalty program, operational CRM and mobility, multi-cultural marketing, traditional and digital advertising, revenue management, brand management, customer insights, VIP Marketing and retail. Complementing his deep brand experience at Harrah's, Norton has worked with marketers across industries as varied as luxury and niche retail, quick serve restaurants, entertainment, telecommunications and travel and leisure. Prior to 1998, Norton led the cross-business-unit infrastructure and strategy for the American Express teleservices channel. The annual conference is right around the corner.
