We will be requiring all Canadian offices to convert to local processing of EFT transactions no later that *December 31, 2015.* We successfully converted all US based offices to local processing about a year ago for the same reasons. The US locations are very satisfied as they now have full control over when the charges are processed and have sped up receivables time. In Canada there will be an even greater increase in receivables time as HCA Corporate will no longer have to receive the EFT payments and then push the funds out to each office. There are two options for changing to local processing. 1. *EFT Canada* - remain with EFT Canada as your processing vendor. You will need to complete and submit the attached application to EFT Canada. Once they receive all the required documents it should take 2-3 days to be set up for processing. Client information currently housed in the corporate portal will be transferred into your local portal. The fees being offered by EFT Canada are $21.95 per month and $0.45 per transaction. There is also a one time $199.95 set up fee. 2. *Other Processor* - you may chose a processor other than EFT Canada. All fees will need to be negotiated by your local office. I recommend that you start this process immediately so it is complete before the busy holiday season.
