We hope you are enjoying this weekly communications with recommendations on timely actions to grow your referral network. - Your *Professional Advisory Council Playbook *(attached) was introduced on one of our BDM Network Calls earlier this year. This resource guides you through mapping out how to launch your own PAC Meeting, who to invite, what topics to talk over and how to get the most ROI on the meetings. All the tools for this excellent initiative can be found here on the Intranet. For those who have established a PAC, we have some updates for you! - *NEW July PAC topic and Facilitation Guide. *Our July PAC meeting topic will be about social isolation in a COVID-19 climate and how it is significantly impacting cognitive decline in seniors. We know this is becoming a big issue at senior living communities and in other environments where seniors are isolated, so we felt this would be a timely and valuable topic for your next PAC meeting. To help you facilitate a meaningful discussion, we have created the following tools (attached to this email): 1. *A list of five articles *that discuss the various factors (social isolation, loneliness, COVID-19) that are currently impacting cognitive decline in older adults in this climate. This document should be shared with your members at least three days prior to the meeting to provide additional information about what you will be discussing. That said, you can explain that it's not necessary for them to read the articles as the meeting won't focus on a specific case study, but it would be beneficial for them to have some background. 2. *A Facilitation Guide *that you can use to help guide the conversation. In the guide we have included an intro, meeting objective, talking points around how HCA is helping our clients and the greater senior community combat social isolation and prompt questions for the group, SLCs, SNFs/hospitals, and wealth advisors/financial planners. - *The Aging Life Care Association featured HCA and the attached flyer in an e-flash newsletter *yesterday that goes to their members! The flyer details four common scenarios where a GCM's client and their family could benefit from home care. Anyone who has an ALCA member or members in their territory should reach out and ask, *"Did you see the ALCA / HCA partnership flyer that went out on July 1st in the ALCA e-flash newsletter? I would love to get together to talk about it. Does next Tuesday work for you?" *Let's leverage this for some face to face time!
