Missouri, unfortunately, is awful about their road care during inclement weather. Uber as a whole was not in operation for periods of time due to Missouri not allowing travel. We had 22 call offs and canceled shifts (by client) during the course of the storm. We prioritized our at home clients needing care first, followed by our clients in facilities. We filled as many shifts as possible and we worked most hours, day and night, to set caregivers up with Ubers. Many of the shifts we were able to fill, started hours late, resulting in additional revenue loss. The storm, also, affected our usual flow for new starts. People we had in the pipeline had discharge plans change, family stay and care for them, family moved some to rehab facilities etc.. We are still working on a couple of cases to try and get back on track to be able to start care. As you know, January has been slow, so the consequences of this storm have been damaging.
