The College is investigating allegations, as yet unproven, that I: a) Scheduled a vaccine clinic for residents in Licensed care without consulting with the Director of Clinical Services. b) Did not follow all established protocols, guidelines or policies and procedures related to the immunization of residents. c) Did not report a medication error in a timely manner and in accordance with established policies and procedures. d) Proposed the idea to nursing staff that were under mysupervision, of falsifying resident records and destroying remaining quantities of medication to eliminate evidence of a known medication error. I will be cooperating fully with the investigation and advocating for my professional reputation and standing as a Licensed Practical Nurse. While I acknowledge some truth in the allegations, I do not believe they accurately reflect the incident being investigated or my level of professionalism. I will let you know the outcome of the College=E2=80=99s investigation when i= t is concluded.
