R= ight up to the very last weekend of the year, we have navigated a relentless= and dynamic pandemic complete with multiplying variants named after Greek l= etters, confusing guidance from public health authorities, immense change at= our own company that fused enormous growth with lots of new processes, and a= grinding shortage of caregivers combined with clients who are desperate for= our help. This is a stage set to cause burnout and exhaustion for each of u= s and our families. So I begin with a sincere thank you for your outstanding= service in 2021. >=20 > Turning to 2022, we continue to face the challenges posed by Omicron as it= blows through our company across this continent. Each o= f us could have chosen countless other things to do with our time, our profe= ssion, and indeed our lives. We have chosen to care for people =E2=80=94 the= vast majority of whom are elderly and need the help we give. These elderly h= ave loved ones (or had loved ones) who cared for them, and were often taken c= are of by the very people who need help now. The way we treat our elderly lo= ved ones says an enormous amount about any society, and we can be proud that= we are devoting the irreplaceable time in our lives to making sure that our= society treats them with nobility, empathy, and compassion. >=20 > So our priority is to =E2=80=9Cserve more cli
