I think a combo of different lengths, depending on the keywords, so bake in
a mix for a quote. Or maybe a menu of options? And per outside interviews,
don't worry about that. If we have partner or internal experts who we want
to feature, we will introduce them, but no need to source individuals to
interview yourself.

Exploring the Learning Center on TheKey.com, I’ve noticed a big variation
in articles that include actual interviews with one or more experts, and
articles that are more based on secondary research (studies, reports,
books, etc. available largely online). Did you have a preference on that?
When I wrote for the Canadian team, it was primarily the second option –
just secondary research – but if you’re looking for interviews with sources
(outside of The Key team members) then I’ll factor in time for finding
sources and carrying out interviews.

Also wanted to go back to our chat around length. Some of these articles
are well over 2,000 words. I’m thinking you probably want to strategically
keep these to the 900 to 1,200 range and pack them full of value. Can you
let me know what your gut feeling is on word count?
