Andr=C3=A9=E2=80=99s father has been afflicted by the disease fo= r almost 20 years and has consistently relied on the FQAS during his father's diagnosis. - Note: FQAS represents the province=E2=80=99s 20 Alzheimer Societies *Background* - September 21 - Trek Starts - Fundraiser trek up Half Dome, Yosemite National Park (California) with his daughter, Genevi=C3=A8ve - All proceeds go to the FQAS - Andr=C3=A9 experienced, and still experiences, the daily challenges th= at result from Alzheimer=E2=80=99s and has witnessed helplessly as his fath= er=E2=80=99s life slowly slips away from him. - The Federation helps to support those afflicted by the disease and their loved ones.
