I noticed that we didn't charge Ashleys 1 hour orientation shift, however we did charge for Ushas full shift. So I would just need to know how long Brittany worked with her and we'll issue the credit. Also Samira provided an orientation to Fabiola on Saturday, of two hours. I believe Sandra emailed you earlier in regards to that credit. The shift was incorrectly marked as billable. Sorry about that. Regarding the 2 hour shifts with Ashley: Our 4 hour policy is in place to protect our caregivers. Our caregivers always want to please, so often they will say yes to a client request when in fact they're unhappy. Ashley hasn't expressed any issues at this point, however I know that it takes her approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes to travel to your mother's residence by public transit. As you can imagine 2+ hours of travel for a 2 hour shift is unreasonable. I'm just trying to balance what's best for everyone. What do you think? Can we split the difference and giver her 3 hours? Also I convinced Ashley to quit her job and join Home Care Assistance on the basis of having 40 hours / wk of work. Do you foresee many weeks where one or more of her shifts will be cancelled? If so I need a plan to find her supplementary work elsewhere. Please let me know your thoughts, Timothy.
