Our case load is equally divided among our care managers, about 25 cases each. As our care managers have different backgrounds, social work / registered nursing, we try to align the cases to match their specializations. So cases which are heavy on the medical side are given to the nurse while most of the cognitive impairment cases are handled by our social worker. But in all honesty we're a tight group and we work as one big team. There's always a bit of cross over. Our care managers have been here for sometime, one since the beginning in 2007. The goal is always to grow and acquire more clients however in order to offer the concierge style service, we have to maintain those rations of clients to care managers (25:1). I'd say we're pretty close to hitting our next threshold (probably by spring) which would mean we need to hire another care manager. Would you happen anyone who might fit this role :) We could always grab a quick coffee and chat about it in more detail. Let me know. Regards, Timothy.
