We do not require a long-term contract or deposit=E2=80=94stay with us only as lo= ng as you are completely satisfied.Home Care Assistance is unique in the home care industry because Our Caregivers are trained in our proprietary Balanced Care Method=E2=84=A2 , focusing on healthy nutrition, physical activity, Cognitive Stimulation , social interaction and a sense of purpose to promote the highest quality of life. We interview each prospective caregiver, check previous work references, and complete a criminal background check. In addition, all our caregivers must pass a psychological test developed exclusively for Home Care Assistance to measure compassion, stability, honesty and reliability. Our caregivers are bonded and insured so you can feel confident in the knowledge that WE are RESPONSIBLE and ACCOUNTABLE for the service we provide.While the safety and security of our clients is our priority, we also believe that it is important to create a bond between the client and the caregiver. With that in mind, we choose the most compatible caregiver for our clients and continue to monitor the ongoing relationship to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.Our minimum service is 12 hours/week, i.e. 3 days of 4 consecutive hours or 2 days of 6 consecutive hours. Our hourly rate varies depending on the complexity of care, currently $24 - $28 / hour + taxes. In the case of Live-In, our rate is $300/day + taxes for a 24 hour shift.
