I'll explain what happened as it is totally my fault. When we spoke on Friday about both days being 10am to 6pm, I advised Caryl and she agreed. I then proceeded to update our scheduling software to reflect the change but for some reason, (most likely because I did so from my cell phone) the changes did not save properly and in the system Sunday remained a 10am to 4pm shift. On Sunday at 4:15pm, Caryl received an automated text message generated from our scheduling software that said "You've missed your clock-out" (this sends automatically 15 minutes after a shift is due to end). Confused, Caryl called the office and spoke with my scheduler Amanda. She verified the schedule in our system which said the shift was due to finish at 4pm. Amanda should have called me to double check but she didn't and told Caryl to leave. There was clearly a breakdown in our process and for that I apologize. It was 100% my fault and not Caryls. The system has been properly updated to reflect the 10am to 6pm schedule moving forward and I've reconfirmed with Caryl. I'm really sorry about this, I assure you it won't happen again. Should you have any further questions or concerns, don't hesitate to call me. Best regards, Timothy. On Sun, Dec 10, 2017 at 9:06 PM, Laura Alper wrote: > Hi Tim, > > I just spoke with my mother.
