We are very excited about the prospect of establishing a partnership and want to clearly outline the next steps for moving forward. First, please find attached a draft email intended for residents in Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) suites, which outlines our proposed collaboration. Please review this draft and provide any feedback or suggestions for clarification. Second, we want to clearly confirm the scope of the arrangement. Our focus is exclusively on providing care options to residents in the Independent Living (IL) section. We commit that we will not approach or offer care to residents in your Assisted Living (AL) section without your prior approval and direction. This relationship is built on mutual trust and the positive work we have accomplished together in the past. By entering into a Preferred Partnership, we aim to ensure your current IL residents=E2=80=94especially those with established care plans=E2=80=94can = continue to reside comfortably at AAM in the home they love. We will implement our Flexcare program to maintain consistent levels of care, designed to closely match the scheduled care your residents are currently receiving. The Flexcare model includes a dedicated onsite caregiver assigned to meet the scheduled needs of your residents. We ensure consistent staffing by using caregivers who are specifically trained to work within the AAM community. This proposal is contingent on scheduling a minimum of 24 hours of care per day at AAM, and requires your support in endorsing TheKey as the preferred home care provider. Flexcare allows a resident to receive fewer than the minimum hours for a shift if the caregiver is not part of TheKey's Flexcare group. TheKey Home Care will closely replicate the services residents are currently receiving, including communications with your Wellness Team as desired by the family. We recognize that every resident has the ultimate choice regarding their care provider and will need to transition care by the deadline set by Amica to comply with VCH licensing requirements. To offer maximum flexibility, residents are not bound by a long-term contract and may terminate or upgrade care with short notice (a 12-hour notice is required for shift cancellation). Furthermore, residents moving from RTA into AL suites would have an easy transition with a wind-down service. We look forward to your feedback and continuing this conversation.
