Anne has mild dementia, is intelligent, high functioning and has insight. (She was a professor of Literature at Marianapolis College for over 40 years and is very articulate= . She would like some additional help to organize herself, her schedule - such as appointments, (doctor, dentist, CPAP provider, hearing aid appointments and maintenance. It would also include assistance with personal care, help with technology (CPAP, microwave, tv, tablet, some help with breakfast and lunches). We don=E2=80=99t want to duplicate what Anne is currently receiving from t= he VISTA or the CLSC. I am interested in finding out how many hours a month we are expected to use =E2=80=94 does your agency offer a limited number of hours = of care a week (in the order of 4-6 hours) plus appointments. There is a role for a senior care manager to design a program for her based on our input that a care provider would implement as Anne's son lives in Toronto and has a daughter who works and has 4 children.
