Now, the focus is on rebuilding up our pipeline for current and future openings. As Erica & I have been reaching out to potential candidates* (We reached out to 109 candidates last week with a 34% response rate)*, we're finding that while we're getting responses, a lot of people aren't actively looking to make a move right now. This isn't uncommon, and it suggests that we need to adjust our approach slightly. Instead of focusing solely on immediate interest, we should shift to a more long-term strategy of building relationships and nurturing passive candidates. Our plan is to continue engaging with these professionals to keep us top-of-mind for when they are ready to explore a new opportunity. We will also be focusing on sourcing talent who may be a good fit for future needs, even if they aren't interested in a role today. I'm confident that by taking this long-term view, we'll have a strong pool of qualified candidates ready when the time comes.
