The office team bonus for January was actually $139.00, rather than the $1,389.00 previously communicated. Unfortunately, this error was identified after the payroll had been finalized and processed. Because this occurred across multiple locations, it has caused a significant financial impact, and the company requires the overpayment to be returned. We understand this is difficult news, especially as many of you have likely already utilized these funds. To help manage the recovery of the overpayment, please let me know your preference for the deduction: - Would you prefer a single lump-sum deduction? - Would you prefer to spread the amount over multiple payments? If so, please specify how many. Please reply directly to me (do not "Reply All") with your preference. Once I have gathered this information for the team I will forward to Canada Payroll and they will issue the necessary wage agreement forms. I don't want to sugarcoat this; it was a costly mistake, but we are heading in a positive direction for our business so more bonuses will be on the way= .
