Good Afternoon,

General Manager Joey Taylor and HR Recruiter Melissa Rus are disputing her
3% salary increase.
Melissa will have been with our organization for 3 years as of September
14th, 2024.

She is currently making $45,000 and her proposed raise was $45,760 ($22 per
hour). Using the American dollar, this is equivalent to $33,000. This is
less than some of our caregivers make and an unlivable wage given inflation
and cost of living in Montreal.

Melissa holds a bachelor's of Commerce Degree (specialized in HR) from John
Molson School of Business (Concordia University), one of Canada's
most prestigious business schools in the Country.

She is currently asking for between $52,000-$53,000 per year. I believe
$50,000 will satisfy her but we are at *high risk* of losing her at the
current 3% raise.

Please consider this request as if we lose her, we would* not *be able to
replace her at the current salary she is at and we would lose an employee
with 3 years experience in our organization.
