Hello Sales Nation & General Managers,
We have two new Salesforce enhancements releasing this evening that will be
live starting tomorrow, Friday 8/29. Please be sure to review the two new
enhancements below so you are up to speed on these changes.
*1. Referral Account Ownership Rule Update*
*Objective:* To complement our current activity expectations on Referral
Accounts, the Referral Account Ownership automation in Salesforce is
updating accordingly.
*Prior State: *In order to maintain ownership of an account, you must
document at least one Event or Follow-up every 6 months. Automated email
notification sent out at 5 months to the Account owner as a warning.
*New State: *In order to maintain ownership of an account, you must
document at least one Event or Follow-up every *90* days. Automated email
notification sent out at *60* days to the Account owner as a warning.
*Next Steps:*
- Be sure to document your activity on the Referral Accounts you own!

- *Tonight you may receive automated email notifications alerting you of
your Accounts that have not had activity documented in over 60 days.*

*2. Strategic Account Plan Process Update*
*Objective:* To improve your experience, reduce administrative time for all
team members involved, and to change SAP Accounts in real time, the SAP
process in Salesforce has been simplified and changed to monthly SAPs
rather than quarterly SAPs.
*Prior State: *
- Quarterly SAPs
- Management of SAP records for creating SAPs, updating SAPs, submitting
SAPs for approval, etc.
*New State:*
- Monthly SAPs
- All SAP functions to be actioned directly on the Referral Account.
*Next Steps:*
- Starting Friday 8/29, click the 'Assign as SAP' and 'Remove as SAP'
options on your Referral Accounts in Salesforce to make changes for
Priority zip code accounts!
