The Carescout rate quoted was $26-32.50. When I look at this, based on it saying she doesn't need help and it is companionship only I think there is a large possibility that she is expecting the $26 rate. If I take her at $26 I destroy my margin. I might lose them if I go higher (she would be tier 1) and then my conversion goes down. On one of our Monday calls to the intake people I had mentioned this. Could we possibly say something like services typically start at $32.50? Also, the rate can go higher on the weekend and it doesn't appear this was mentioned. Betty Steinhauser, age 92, lives independently in a one floor home in Independence. Betty was hospitalized on May 17 (breathing issues) and was in rehab (Sun Terra Springs) and discharged on 6/12. Sun Terra had referred an agency that they are currently using during the day. Diana, daughter, has been staying overnight with Betty. Betty is independent with personal care, including toileting. Betty has anxiety overnight. Betty uses an inhaler. They will be letting the agency providing the day hours go. Betty is no longer in need. Genworth referred to TheKey for a discounted rate. CareScout ID# C-148338-L00. The schedule would be 7 days, either starting at 8:00p or 9:00p until 6:00a. CareScout rate quoted: $26/32.50. Caregiver will be providing companionship during the overnight. Diana is available for an assessment on 8/4, at 10:30a. No pets. Betty will be paying out of pocket (the LTCI doesn't cover at home care). The discount should still apply. -- *Teresa Heit* *Administrator* *(O) 913-663-5000* *(C) 913-961-3130* [image: TheKey] --000000000000374e10063b89f767 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Tim, Please see the opportun= ity below.
