You will be receiving an email from *no-reply@zoom.us * with your *temporary **number.* We will be reaching out and scheduling a call with your region in the coming weeks. This transition is an important step in our company-wide transition to a more unified and streamlined communication platform. Your existing 8x8 direct user and office main phone numbers will be moved to Zoom Phone upon port completion (porting is when we move one line from one carrier to another). *Key Details for the Transition:* - *Kick Off Call: *We will be scheduling a kickoff call with your region(s) to go over basic Zoom functionality, transitional steps, and to answer any questions you may all have regarding Zoom. - *Temporary Number:* A temporary Zoom phone number will be assigned to you upon the creation of your account. *Please do not share this temporary number*, as it will be *disconnected and replaced* by your permanent 8x8 number on *port* *completion*. After our kickoff call, we will also email on a per office basis with your* temporary office number* and *temporary direct number*. The temporary office number will be a 1 to 1 setup of your current office's call routing settings. Please test and reply back to that email with any issues you encounter. - *Soft Forward Period:* Soft forwarding involves forwarding your current office line and direct 8x8 phone number to your *temporary zoom office* and *temporary* *zoom phone number*. During the soft forward, we ask that you use Zoom Phone exclusively in place of 8x8. - *Software Installation:* Zoom Phone, like 8x8, has both desktop and mobile applications. These will be automatically installed on your devices where possible. Once you see the application on your work laptop and cell phone, please try logging in. We have included detailed instructions on how to login on the documents attached to this email. If you do not see the Zoom Phone application on your devices within 2 days from this email, please submit a service request to itsupport@thekey.com or call (888) 838-1955 for assistance with the installation. *Training and Resources:* To ensure a smooth transition, we have prepared the 2 training resources below.
