She stated mom is 81, advanced stages of Parkinson's and at the end of her life. Mom is bed bound currently and living with her son. She is planning on moving in with Rimki on 3/19 and spend the rest of her time there. Rimki states she is completely bed bound, but if she is having a good day, she would assist the caregiver with getting her into a chair. During the shift times, she will need to be fed as she cannot feed herself, cleaned, making sure she is taking her medication and changing her depends. We went through what we can provide and medical services we cannot- she asked about Oxygen and I explained we can assist getting it over her mouth but we cannot touch the tank. Medications- she understands it has to be hand over hand and that we cannot measure or dose out meds. Right now, she eats soft foods such as potatoes, cream of wheat, etc. and liquids with thickener in it. Rimki will still be working so the schedule she is in need of would be: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays 7am-6pm- on her days off she will need assistance with: Thursday, Saturday and Sundays: 7-12pm & 3-7pm. She is looking for consistency with the same caregivers, but knows for this schedule it will be a few. Mom's heigh is 5'3 about 140lbs. She will be paying privately and was quoted $36-$40 an hour. There are no pets or smoking in the home.
