We must be thoughtful about how we do this and will rely on collaboration from each of you to ensure we are prioritizing any team members that need more training specifically in the areas of lift training. Shellie will work with scheduling to ensure we have 10 members for each session. We will be charged whether all members attend or not so they must understand that confirming attendance means they must be there. This is a significant investment, but one I truly believe we must make to secure our contract with VCH. It will also position us for growth and future opportunities. Victoria, please think about your team members as well but ferry costs, etc will not be covered except for Marilyn who I do think should attend. I also believe our Vancouver CSM team should attend a session so they can train if needed. I think we will all sleep better knowing our caregivers have the necessary skills as we continue to serve both VCH and community clients. Shellie and I will be away during parts of March but I think we can ensure the right caregivers are present for the two later sessions in March 21st and 28th. The dates for April and May are perfect. I want Shellie to be a part of content because she works directly works with many of the caregivers and clients, allowing her to understand where many of the gaps lie. Let's try to find time to quickly connect over the sessions. I am away next week but back to work on Monday, March 9th so that week would be best. I look forward to our continued collaboration on ensuring client care is compassionate, caring, and above all safe.
