Previously, these emails were fully automated. However, to prevent the significant distress and loss of trust caused by administrative errors (such as a client being incorrectly marked as deceased), we are introducing a manual safeguard. *What is Changing?* Starting* Friday, March 13*, we will implement a new approval workflow in Salesforce: - Action Required: When a client is discharged under "Mortality," GMs and Site Leaders will receive a prompt in the =E2=80=9CItems to Approve=E2= =80=9D section of Salesforce titled "CEO Sympathy Email." - Approval Window: Leaders will have 7 days to verify the status and either approve or reject the email. - Fail-Safe Protocol: If no action is taken within the 7-day window, the system will automatically reject the notification. No email will be sent unless it is explicitly confirmed. This safeguard protects our reputation and our clients=E2=80=99 families. I= t ensures that sympathy emails are only sent when appropriate and prevents notifications from being triggered by late discharges or user errors. Please reach out to myself or @Audra Williams if you have any questions!
