Take a moment to call your new hire prior to their first day. Topics to Cover - Start date, time, and location - Your contact information - Confirm if they have received their equipment. This can be verified by the equipment tracking number in your IT ticket request - Contact person on first day if someone other than yourself along with contact information - TheKey New Hire Q&A: - New hires will receive a video link for orientation and will be assigned New Employee Essentials training in the Learning Management System on their first day. Please ensure they review the video. - An optional New Hire Q&A session is held every Monday at 11:00 AM PST. This session provides an opportunity for new hires to ask questi= ons about the orientation video, onboarding tasks, or any other topics. Additional Information - A first day email from the HR Service Center will be sent to your new hire before their start date. The email will have instructions and information pertaining to their work email and how to log into their wor= k equipment, if they are being issued a computer. - New hires will receive their work email assignment directly from the IT Support team. Hiring leaders will be able to view work email addresses b= y logging into Workday and viewing their team member=E2=80=99s Workday pro= file. - Schedule a 2-hour block to complete the required anti-harassment training in your new team member=E2=80=99s first month. They will receiv= e an invitation to complete the course from Traliant their first week of employment. - The Training Development & Learning team maintains an onboarding calendar to support you and your new team member through the first few weeks of training.
