Just following up on the conversation we had today regarding Nora Daniel. I spoke with the team and Kara let me know that we are no longer contacting the neighbor. We made a note in the file to only contact the neighbor if an emergency is very likely. We have been calling the home and speaking directly with the caregiver. Maybe just verify with the care giver that she does not share these calls with Nora or neighbor to avoid a negative reaction.
Also, the team met with Joey regarding the escalation process and how we can improve it. We think the best way would be for me to have access to Clear Care so we can understand the schedule of when a caregiver is in the home and contact the client's care giver directly. It would also provide peace of mind that another person is in the home as notifications come in.
