Hi Timon,
Following our meeting, I've updated the dashboard. Here's the link in case : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MK_1pgl9juGyRAE63GJCzt0f4mmSaJvLdqeGn58-fgA/edit?usp=sharing
Here are a few points:
1.
I went to the Ontario Business Registry website to find general information about Arya Healthy Living Inc. I'm enclosing a screen printout of the company I found. Could you please confirm that this is the correct entity?
2.
To create an account on the Ontario Tenders Portal (OTP), what email address would you like me to use? And do you have a password preference, or does this not matter to you (I can be creative and come up with one no problem!)?
3.
I'll let you confirm point 2 of the dashboard concerning the temporary help agency license. When this point is resolved, I'll need you to send me the following information:
*
Contractor Tax Compliance Verification (TCV);
*
9-digit Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) number;
* Clearance Certificate under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.
1. I let you validate point 4 of the dashboard concerning the accreditation by an external accreditation organization (e.g., by Accreditation Canada or Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (“CARF”)).
2. For points 5.1 to 5.4 of the dashboard concerning the Personal Health Information Protection Act (“PHIPA”), the information in the dashboard summarizes what PHIPA requires companies to implement. For more information, here's a link to a guide, intended as a tool to help health information custodians understand their rights and obligations under PHIPA: https://www.ipc.on.ca/en/resources-and-decisions/guide-personal-health-information-protection-act
3.
Could you please ask your person in charge of occupational health and safety to quickly go through this checklist: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QmmX4ehkQBR1hrR3bWwfP0SnpSwDcK2D/view?usp=sharing
This will ensure that nothing important is missing on the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) side.
4. I let you validate points 8.1 to 8.3 of the dashboard concerning accessibility standards under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (“AODA”).
5.
Can you please confirm with your insurer's representative that your insurance policy covers the items listed in point 10 of the dashboard?
As discussed, I'll be taking a weekly look at the tenders and will let you know as soon as I target any interesting ones.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!
It was a pleasure to talk to you.
Have a great day!

Hi Tim,
I'm finally writing to you about public tenders in the province of Ontario. I am deeply sorry for the delays on my side.
As a result of my research, analysis and reading on the subject over the past few weeks, I've listed the requirements that need to be met in order to bid on public tenders in Ontario in the following dashboard: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MK_1pgl9juGyRAE63GJCzt0f4mmSaJvLdqeGn58-fgA/edit?usp=sharing
The Ontario Tenders Portal (OTP) is the ''new'' electronic tendering (eTendering) system for the government of Ontario. As of April 1, 2014, OTP became the designated eTendering system for the government of Ontario ministries and procurement opportunities were no longer posted on MERX after March 31, 2014.
We only need to register on OTP website to access all Ontario government tenders. There is no charge to download tender documents from OTP, unlike MERX, which currently costs approximately $960 per year before taxes.
I registered my company on the OTP website so that I can view tenders. However, according to the terms and conditions of Ontario tenders: ''A Supplier may not collect documents or dispense them to a third party. A Supplier may not submit tenders on behalf of a third party.'' This means you'll need to create an account for your company, from which I'll be able to prepare bids, much like the SEAO website in Quebec. You’ll find all the info in the first point of the dashboard.
I hope this meets your expectations. If this way of presenting the information suits you, I can start Alberta right away.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate.
Have a great day!
