It was really lovely (and serendipitous) to connect with you on Monday!
Thank you for the book too :) and for the great water bottle! That was so
thoughtful and generous of you.

I would love to discuss the possibility of being involved in training for
caregivers. I am fuelled by people being as grief / death literate and
competent as possible. I have facilitated the End-of-life Doula Care
Program at Douglas College for 7 years so I have a lot of experience
educating / facilitating on the topic of companioning the dying.

Thank you so much for all of the links and connections. I am swamped at the
moment but I have your email flagged and a note in my to do list to revisit
the contacts. You are a connector! I love that! One of my most favorite
things to do is to connect the right people. I love the idea of ripples -
small scale change leading to big change. I have the sense that you are
also inspired by creating community.

I hope you enjoy your time out of town. I would be happy to give you and
your student a tour of North Shore Hospice on Monday if that works for you.
I will be at the facility from 10:45 - 1:45.

It was amazing connecting with you today! Thank you so much for the book.
It is a significant piece of work and I can see your passion in it.  I
think this could be the tip of something interesting and I hope we can
continue the conversation.

Our VP of Canada,  is interested in hearing more about training for our
care givers. Let's pull him into that conversation in the new year.

The 48th Annual Conference for the BC Care Providers Association

for speakers close on January 9th 2026. I think this group would be very
responsive! Talk, sell, network!

be meeting with her this week and can open a door; she is a connector doing
advocacy and policy for BCCPA and has been involved in many aspects of
care.

I am glad to hear you know Connie Jorsvik as she has encouraged me to
explore hospice care. I would love to see where NS Hospice and TheKey can
align in our next conversation! I see a dinner party emerging.....(lunch
would be too brief!)4

 Let's plan something soon! I am out of town Wednesday and Friday I will
have a high school student shadowing me for part of the day.  It would be
great to be able to bring her to the Hospice to meet you. (She wants to go
into medicine and I'm trying to give her a little exposure to the various
departments at the hospital. No patients just staff introductions.)
