Hi Team,
We are obligated to give Gagandeep back her role or one of equal work and
value - I would not advise changing her pay structure upon her return - you
could potentially get around this if it amounts to the same or greater pay.
If separation is being considered I would not advise doing this immediately
upon her return as it could be viewed as retaliatory. I would recommend
reviewing budget, performance, structure etc. over 60-90 days following her
return in order to make an objective and informed decision. I will consult
with our legal team on what may be considered the least risky paths forward
for a separation.
I agree that it may make the most sense to have Gagandeep take over one
office/area specifically. I know she was part time but what days/times was
she working previously?
Shyanne is also working 7 days a week which can lead to burnout. This may
be a good opportunity to check in with Shyanne and see if she wants/needs a
break at all.
Thanks,
Kathryn
