There are provincial laws for OT. We shouldn’t have more than one policy.
If we need caregivers to sign new agreements that’s fine but OT is paid
after 12 hours daily and that’s the rule in our industry. Caregivers are
able to work more than 44 hours though is my understanding as long as they
don’t exceed 12 hours a day.
We spent a lot of time with the Labour Board trying to understand all this
and consulted a lawyer also.
What is needed to make this one document and one set of rules?
