I am aware my request is not in line with the preferences of the other General Managers and would like an opportunity to ask and explain. My request is that the Chicago team as a whole, CGMs, CSMs, and myself, be pulled out of the regional on-call rotation and manage our office singularly. My reasons are due to both the size of the Chicago office and the ownership the Chicago team has for its clients and caregivers. My team operates using an old school methodology which is we own both our successes and our messes and we all believe it should be one of us reaching out to our clients and caregivers when things go awry. My team is strong enough to cover and manage itself when I am on PTO and I am willing and able to step up when one of them is on PTO. A weekend dedicated on-call specialist with local back-up would be ideal but perhaps too costly, and it is understood this may not be an option if Chicago operates individually. But, to be honest my team is on board with that. Thanks for your time.
