You have authorization to do that for any fill in shift in order to ensure the client has care. Please see the example below [image: image.png] and please also ensure that both billing and payroll boxes are checked so that each department can see the note. If you have to deviate from the Market or Complex rate "*ongoing" *for any caregiver working with a *"new client"* please ensure you have authorization. You will have to email your local leader or myself and we need to explain to Tim the reasons we have to pay more. Please do not make the assumption we are going to authorize it until you have tried every avenue to be in compliance with the market or complex rates. If you are replacing a caregiver with a tenured client then we want to try to push the margin closer to 50% if we can. *Please note* none of the above relates to staffing or residences that have specific requirements for caregivers as in those instances we have already ( or should have) tagged them as "*partner exception rate"* so they will not be flagged in any audit regarding caregiver rates of pay. Team, will continue to work on our margins together, talk about the reality of caregiver rates during our one on ones and continue to work the best we can within these new parameters. I know each of you have concerns about your market and we will do our best to understand them and have them addressed quickly to ensure you have the tools to be successful. Any concerns or feedback please do not hesitate to reach out Kind regards Sharon Sharon, Speirs Canadian Staffing Manager 778 279 3634 TheKey.ca [image: TheKey] --0000000000005c7b7705fa4159e4 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi Canadian Staffing team and on call managers Please see below an example of what every scheduling man= ager must do if you have to deviate from the market or complex rates for yo= ur market in clear care and pay a caregiver a different rate.
