I hear ya. Will see if KPMG can help us to gain this access that we need. Thank you, Sir. *From:* Timothy Thomas <tt@thekey.com> *Sent:* Monday, July 7, 2025 8:52 AM *To:* Laszlo Kovacs <laszlo.kovacs@thekey.com> *Cc:* Dylan Hodson <dylan.hodson@thekey.com> *Subject:* Re: FW: 2024 Canadian Tax Liabilities Hi Lasz, I log into the CRA via my personal banking profile. Once logged in, you have access to my personal tax information, along with all the companies I'm registered to as an officer. I'm not comfortable sharing that access. I'm sure additional members can be added although I'm not familiar with the regulations governing access. I would think KPMG can solve this for you. Bottom line is we need to setup payment plans for the taxes owed and sounds like that needs to go through you for some reason. Help me to understand what we need to do to move this forward. However, I am certain that Tax does not have access to the Canadian Revenue site in which payment plans are created. Tim and KPMG have their own logins, and both have previously stated those logins will not be shared with tax for various reasons. I believe someone from Treasury will need to compel Tim to share. Tax has tried with no success. We have little info regarding the payment plan process. Not sure if we can pay the installments via wire transfer or must initiate from Tim’s CAD bank account that is currently tied to the CRA account. Furthermore, as with most government entities, the CRA will not speak to anyone other than Tim about tax matters. To say Tax is in “no mans land” is accurate here. Let me know if you have any follow up questions. Does each site have their own login information to log in and set up a payment plan? And if that is the case, it sounds like you are saying that none of the sites want to share their login credentials with you? I understand that from the site perspective they would be hesitant to share credentials, but we are strapped for cash right now and this would be considered a business critical function and a trigger we need to pull to conserve cash. I think we need to push back on their reluctance to give credentials. Additionally, do wire payments not need to be made through the individual websites or do you have the wire information already for us to initiate out of our bank? Again, I want to avoid paying the lump sums and go with the payment plan, just trying to understand the differences. Seth can provide more detail. Tim states he will not give them as they are linked to his personal bank account. We are going to have to pay via wire transfer. We can wait until next week or the week after but we are going to have to pay in full. Do you have an idea of amounts and timing of payments so that we can update our cash forecast? We have weekly liquidity reporting that we share with the ELT and Summit. If we have to pay any portion of that $2m next week it will impact our reporting and we’ll need an explanation to share with everyone. Preference is to keep all of the $2m out of next week, but even then still we’ll want to put the payment plan details in the forecast. On Jun 27, 2025, at 1:27 PM, Michael Jichetti <michael.jichetti@thekey.com> wrote: Yes we can using a JPM in Canada. What we need to do is file the returns first then log into each entity's site and set up the payment plan via direct debit. Bear with me as I have never done this before in the past in Canada but it's all set up through the site. Paying via bank account though the site is always better as with wire not all of the payments get there or get stuck in limbo causing a lot of issues for us.
