We are investigating the incident to the best of our ability and waiting to access some video footage from the residence. The family has been gracious, but one of the caregivers did file a report with the police. No disciplinary action has been taken as we conduct our investigation. This client has complex care needs and suddenly suspending both caregivers would have posed a safety risk. I am bringing this issue to everyone's attention as assistance may be required.
