Hello Ashley, Matt, Angie,

We had three HCL head count approved for the province of Ontario. We have successfully hired for two (Waterloo and Toronto downtown with start dates in Aug and Sept respectively). My understanding from Tim is that we will not be establishing an office and/or hiring an operations team in Ottawa, in the foreseeable future.

My proposal is to move the third head count to Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA), where the current HCA business is relatively skewed towards referral marketing. Here are some of the high level insights on GTHA West:
GTHA Population: 1.7 M
Mississauga is the 6th largest metropolitan in the country. Oakville is one of the most affluent cities in Canada (Reference: StatsCan and Canadian Business).
40% of the current HCA business is driven by referral leads.
11 active referral partners for HCA
We have a physical HCA office in Oakville with a good caregiver retention and hiring system for entire GTHA territory. (Angie Kunnath and I were the owners of this office)
Toronto HCL will not be able to cover GTHA because of traffic and size of the territory; and the opportunity cost of not being in Toronto.
Through my personal network, I have identified a good candidate who works as a sales consultant for a premium SLC in the territory and she is actively looking for positions with other senior care organization. I think Amanda would be an excellent acquisition in GTHA. Please let me know your thoughts.

Best Regards,

Matt
