This triggered an SMS to Judith, who= has a mobile phone, asking her to resolve the alert. She did not. The syst= em then sent an SMS to her son Corey. He did not reply either. The system t= hen sent an alert to the Lifeguard Alert Center, which went unnoticed on ou= r end. We continue to investigate how the message was missed. When no one i= n the contact list replies to the SMS, then our professional monitoring ser= vice, AvantGuard is alerted. AvantGuard called Judith to conduct a wellness= check and no one answered. They then called Corey and did not receive an a= nswer at his number either. At this point, as per our agreement with AvantG= aurd, EMS is dispatched. As I=92ve been to Judith=92s residence, I assume that a patrol unit respond= ed, was met by the building=92s doorman, who then took them to Judith=92s a= partment and let them in. The alert was resolved when the front door was op= ened 3:44pm. Seeing that Judith=92s daughter was the person who contacted your staffing = manager, we strongly urge that she be added to Judith=92s contact list. "I spoke to Leslie (Judith Barlows daughter) she said the QPP (provincial p= olice) showed up due to an alarm, but they were not home all day.
