Hi Teio and Leslie,

Thank you for your quick replies. The request for the amalgamation
documents is from KPMG, not Ceridian.

KPMG requires these documents to assist with EHT notifications. They need
to confirm whether our legal counsel has already notified the CRA of the
payroll accounts and requested new accounts. KPMG mentioned that this is
typically standard procedure, but if legal counsel does not perform this
step, KPMG can assist, provided they have the amalgamation documents. The
amalgamation documents may also be needed for new WSIB and WCB (Workers'
Compensation) accounts. I have a call with WSIB later this week and will
follow up with their recommendations.
