Alberta recently underwent an audit process, and OHS officials will be visiting each of our locations soon. It is crucial that all locations are fully prepared and in compliance with these visits. Please review the following important information and attached documents carefully. *1. Establishment of a Joint Health and Safety Committee* Establish a Joint Health and Safety Committee to oversee and promote health and safety initiatives within our organization. Each province will need to select two to four caregivers and two field/corporate employees to participate in this important committee. The training compliance details required for this OHS mandate are included at the end of this email. *2. Regular Contact for Workers Working Alone* We enhance safety measures for workers who work alone during both day and night shifts. Attached is the =E2=80=9CWorking Alone Guidelines=E2=80=9D do= cument to ensure compliance with OHS regulations. *3. Development of an Emergency Response Plan* We have implemented a comprehensive violence prevention plan, which includes the =E2=80=9CRespect in the Workplace Policy.=E2=80=9D This policy= covers both violence prevention and harassment prevention. *4. Establishment of a Harassment Prevention Plan* We have established a harassment prevention plan, included within the =E2=80=9CRespect in the Workplace Policy,=E2=80=9D adhering to the highest = compliance standards in Ontario, CA. *Action Required:* 1.
