--000000000000c3b73305f5db590b Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable One important additional issue that I should have mentioned about December financials: There was an unfavorable true up of commissions expenses in December due to May-November commission expense being under accrued (the commission expenses recorded on the income statement from May-November were lower than what had actually been paid out). This affected most regions throughout the company. To prevent this from happening again, Accounting will be recording the actual commission payments as the expense for that month. For instance, since we're closing January in March, we already know what January's commission payments were and Accounting will record the actuals to the P&L. If Accounting closes a month before that month's commission payments have been made, then Accounting will use the prior month's actual commission payment for the commission expense and Accounting will true up any differences on a quarterly basis. For instance if we close March by early/mid April and we haven't paid March commissions yet, Accounting will accrue March commissions in the amount that was actually paid in February.
