A few updates this month Enhanced Masking Measures Eliminated at this time As of March 4th Ministry has dropped the mandatory masking requirements in = villages for team members, students, volunteers, and support workers. Pleas= e still keep Infection Control Measures at top of mind. As always, we will = follow ministry requirements and at some point in future they may again req= uire temporary measures. We will advise if/when that occurs. Some more details for guidance below and attached * Masks are required based on point of care risk assessment (PCRA) and as p= er additional precautions signage. * Masks are required based on the return= -to-work protocol following COVID-19 infection as outlined in the Infectiou= s Disease Protocol Appendix 1: Case definitions and Disease Specific Inform= ation: Diseases caused by a novel coronavirus. * Masks may be worn based on= individual preference, or if requested by resident or SDM during care and = villages will have them available. * Supplier Partners may consider wearing= a mask during prolonged direct resident care defined as one-on-one within = two metres of an individual for fifteen minutes or longer. For visitors: * = Masks are recommended, but not required. Exceptions to the masking requirem= ents are: * children who are younger than two years of age * any individual= (staff, student, volunteer, support worker, caregiver, visitor or resident= ) who is being accommodated in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontari= ans with Disabilities Act. 2005 or the Ontario Human Rights Code.
