I want to ensure we have enough people to answer phones and ensure that we are providing the service we need to for our clients and not putting undue stress on anyone. Robin is around this holiday which means for the on call team we are back up except for the regular days we do. Last year was difficult and I am not prepared to do that again. I have authorized two vacations as they were submitted early but there will be an expectation of moving things around for those individuals on call to ensure that it's fair for everyone. I am sorry but I will not authorize any other time off for anyone else in the office until after January 7th no matter what department you are in. Christmas and New years fall on the Monday this year which means the Friday and the Tuesday we are open for business. I am fine for everyone to work from home Friday as well as Tuesday both weeks but then it is business as usual.
