Recruitment call

I brought up the scheduling being 3 weeks out on the call on Friday. I
guess that people can go in and set up their own times but the calendar is
only 2 weeks out and sometimes it is full so they would have to wait. I
told them we lost someone because they couldn't wait several weeks to do
the initial interview. They told me that if this happens I should let them
know the person's name and they would put those people on a cancellation
list.  I only knew the person had this issue because I had worked with them
before and asked them to apply so they had called me directly. I'm worried
that under normal circumstances people would just move on.
