Care Association (ALCA)* and CEO of JFS Care.
*What:* Understanding the Role of Geriatric Care Managers (GCMs)
*When:* Wednesday, July 17 at 8:00 AM Pacific
*Why it matters:* Geriatric Care Managers (GCMs; also known as Aging Life
Care Managers® and Professional Care Managers) are an essential resource in
helping older adults and families navigate complex care needs. This session
will deepen your understanding of how GCMs support client outcomes and how
to identify when a referral might make sense.
With a growing shortage of geriatricians across North America, we (as
professionals serving older adults) are in a unique position to help fill
the gap by identifying needs early and connecting clients to the right
resources, including GCMs.
