**Best Practices for Submitting Invoices to Accounts Payable**
The Accounts Payable department is pleased to share best practices for vendor invoices and payment approvals.
* Please route vendor invoices and payment approval to [ap-invoices@thekey.com](mailto:ap-invoices@thekey.com). For more time sensitive vendors, please send to “rush” inbox: [rush-payments@thekey.com](mailto:rush-payments@thekey.com).
* All new vendors require a W9 form. Please send the form to [apw9@thekey.com](mailto:apw9@thekey.com) for a new vendor set-up.
* Checks are mailed twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday. Allow 2-3 weeks of turnaround time for vendors to receive payments
* All telecommunication and internet vendors will be added to the Corporate vCom portal by the IT Support Team. Please contact [it@thekey.com](mailto:it@thekey.com) and [itsupport@thekey.com](mailto:itsupport@thekey.com) to add these vendors to vCom.
Having sufficient operating procedures is extremely important to reduce processing time, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions.
