So we have been brainstorming this project, and as well, had a discussion with our Facebook Agency rep on Tuesday. First: Campaigns - *Facebook: * - As discussed in our call Friday, we will have to tread carefully around Facebook's policies regard age discrimination and the overall job recruitment category. The rep's recommendation was to build a Look-A-Like [LAL] audience based on current and past staffs' profiles. We feel this is one solution but we will look at the other opportunities we discuss i.e. immigrants/ex-pats - For the last-minute recruitment of specific individuals for specific requests the LAL custom audience, combined with language & a tighter location will be tried but audience sizes could be restricted. - *Pinterest:* - For the campaign to cultivate new persons into the profession have you considered/used Pinterest in the past? It is just a thought that we will explore. It may be a way to capture the personas we are looking for. *Secondly: Website* - *Become a Caregiver landing page *(new) - The consensus is there should be an unique landing page for recruits to the profession - that explains the ideal candidate, the rewarding career of helping others, the requirements for certain levels of caregivers and the training HCA provides. - The current Careers page is speaking to existing Caregivers. A specific new recruit page should increase engagement and interest. - *Job Board* - Here is an example of HomeInsteads Career listings page. We believe it represents what you want to accomplish. Please provide feedback. - An important feature is that staff should be able to add / remove / update job listings on the fly without programming experience required. - Options: - Timothy, do you or your programmer have the skillset to build a backend easy-to-use dashboard for staff to work with to create open positions, populate the front end & turn them on and off, etc? - License a job board SAAS. We have not done a deep dive on this yet but have done a few searches. There are many options but start at $200 USD. So this becomes an ongoing cost but could be the quickest solution. - Create a microsite (bilingual - FR & ENG sites) using WordPress and host it under a subdomain ( i.e.jobs.homecareassistancemontreal.ca). There are numerous WP Job Postings/Boards plug-ins to evaluate. This will require an upfront cost but lower ongoing monthly costs. Let's speak at your earliest convenience to discuss options. We are: - build FB campaigns to see what we can create for audiences - looking into Pinterest as an option - recommending the Become a Caregiver landing page be developed for the Recruitment ad campaign. Timothy: Will you create this page or will you want us to design the mock-up and write the content? Let us know and we will prepare a quote if needed. Thank you, Mark 613.228.2028 | 20eight.ca | Mark@20eight.ca --000000
